Henslow was an Alliance diplomat stationed as high commissioner to Fezzan until the Galactic Empire, under Reinhard von Lohengramm, seized control of the planet in late 798 UC. When that happened, he managed to escape aboard the merchant vessel Berezka alongside Julian Mintz and Louis Machungo.
