Yanagi is a student from the class next door who's totally into Yuki. He's got the whole package—handsome, well-mannered, the type of guy who seems like he has his life together. Problem is, his eyesight is terrible. Like, genuinely awful. He's constantly either breaking his glasses or losing his contact lenses, which honestly undermines the whole "perfect gentleman" vibe he's going for. It's one of those running gags where you'd think someone that polished would have figured out a sustainable eyewear situation by now.
