Subaru's the youngest of a massive family—the 6th kid—and he's basically nothing like his brothers. He's got a troublemaker streak that runs deep: violent tendencies, loves breaking things, gets a kick out of causing pain. The sadist angle is pretty core to who he is. That said, he's not completely heartless—he can surprise people with genuine sweetness every now and then, even if those moments are rare. The thing is, he genuinely doesn't click with any of his siblings, which puts him in a weird spot family-wise.
