Synopsis

Yui Komori's priest father left Japan for Eastern Europe without her, forcing her to move in with distant relatives she'd never met before. While staying with the Sakamaki brothers, she's picked up almost nothing about why they're so divided—until one of them decides to tell her everything. Turns out they're all half-brothers, sons of the same man, Tougo Sakamaki (also called Karlheinz). He had three wives: Beatrice gave him Shuu and Reiji, Cordelia had Ayato, Kanato, and Laito, and Christa had only Subaru. The wives fought constantly for Karlheinz's attention and favor, and the kids paid the price for it—emotionally and physically. When Yui hears about Cordelia especially, something weird happens. Her heart races, she feels strange, and she can't figure out why. She has no idea she's carrying a secret that explains both why her blood is so appealing to vampires and what her actual connection to the Sakamaki family really is.
