A small fox or ferret-like spirit sent by the Osa of Tono to help Ushio exorcise the demons controlling Moritsuna. He and Ushio become genuine friends and trusted partners in the fight ahead.
Don't let his size fool you—Izuna's got serious combat skills and can hold his own against most opponents, though he knows better than to take on the truly heavy hitters. He can fly, slip into the bodies of humans and yokai alike, zip through mirrors and anything reflective, hoist Ushio up by his shirt (barely), and turn his flame-like tail into a cutting weapon when needed.
