Meifon Sakura is a supporting protagonist in Valkyrie Drive Mermaid and one of the earliest survivors transferred to the island, arriving well before the main characters. She was originally sent there from Wärter, where she worked as an undercover gambler.
Half Taiwanese, half Japanese, Meifon's got a distinct Kansai dialect and isn't shy about cracking jokes—though she can flip the switch and get serious when things actually matter.
