A student at Kunugigaoka Junior High School assigned to the infamous Class 3-E—the dropout class tasked with assassinating their teacher, Korosensei. His regular partners in this bizarre arrangement are Takuya Muramatsu and Taiji Yoshida.
Terasaka's main drive is getting out. He's impatient, selfish, and desperate enough to ignore the moral lines most people wouldn't cross. If someone gets hurt helping him? Not his problem. He'll throw classmates under the bus without hesitation if it means improving his own odds.
That said, he's got some actual leadership chops. Muramatsu and Yoshida follow his lead consistently, and he knows how to push people's buttons to get what he wants. He's not subtle about it either—he'll straight-up pressure someone like Nagisa Shiota into attempting an assassination by reminding them how awful their situation is. It works because he's right, even if the tactic is ruthless.
