She's a second-year student at Kuoh Academy who started out as part of Riser's peerage before eventually becoming Issei's Bishop and servant after his victory.
Like her brothers, she inherited the Phoenix bloodline, giving her control over fire, wind, and immortality. Despite her young age, she's remarkably intelligent and perceptive—often reading situations and understanding Issei's thoughts with just a glance. She's become his main strategist and effectively his second in command, with high standards for who gets to join his peerage and the discipline to enforce them.
Her personality took a complete 180 from her first appearance. She started out spoiled and arrogant, genuinely convinced her brother Riser was unbeatable. Witnessing his crushing loss to Issei flipped a switch in her—she went from dismissive to attracted to him, eventually falling for him (though she'd never admit it easily). These days she's polite, elegant, and well-mannered, though she can still be cold to people she dislikes.
The thing is, Ravel doesn't actually mind being called Issei's "servant" or anything else, as long as she gets to stay close to him. She threw herself into managing his affairs and studying hard to be useful to him going forward. Fans often note that beneath her maturity, she's got a stubborn, childish streak—she'll squabble with Koneko or the other girls over Issei's attention despite being the one supposedly managing everything.
