He's best known for his willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done—ethics rarely factor into his calculations. His nickname comes from a genuinely unsettling ability: he can transmute the iron in his own blood into guns and other weapons on the fly, making him a walking arsenal.
Grand ran Laboratory 5 in Central, officially listed as defunct, though it was very much operational under his command. The lab's real purpose was creating a philosopher's stone, which Grand wanted for his own ambitions rather than any military interest. His methods there were characteristically brutal and unscrupulous.
