One of Fairy Tail's more seasoned members, Macao's best known for his purple flare magic—a flame that won't extinguish no matter how hard you try to blow it out or douse it with water. Beyond that, he's genuinely skilled at transformation magic; his disguises are convincing enough to fool even someone like Mirajane, who's no slouch in that department herself.
His personal life's been a bit of a mess. He's divorced and currently dating someone considerably younger, which has made him something of a fixture in the guild's gossip mill. Apparently he's got a way with younger women—Cana had a crush on him back in the day. But his real priority is his son Romeo, who he clearly cares deeply about.
