Synopsis

After his master Ul dies, Gray Fullbuster hits the road to train and explore on his own. While traveling through a blizzard, he stumbles across a girl named Nano Leaf running for her life. When they're both cornered and captured by members of the dark guild Chrono Noise, Gray discovers the guild has sinister plans for Nano. He's forced to do whatever it takes to stop them and get her out. This is Gray's story before he ever joins Fairy Tail—a look at his early journey to grow stronger and find his place in the world.
