Lily is Misty's older sister and one of three siblings who run the Cerulean City Gym alongside her. She first showed up in The Water Flowers of Cerulean City, the same episode that introduced Daisy and Violet to viewers.
Of the three sisters, Lily and Violet tend to give Misty a harder time than Daisy does. During the gym's famous water shows, Lily typically takes on the more masculine roles while Violet handles the feminine parts. She and her sisters popped up regularly throughout the series and also appeared in Pokémon Chronicles.
