Kururi is Izaya's shy, softspoken younger twin sister—the opposite of her more outgoing sister Mairu in almost every way. She stands out at school by wearing a gymnastics outfit instead of the standard uniform, which unfortunately makes her a target for bullies who hold her brother's notorious reputation against her.
She's got a crush on Aoba, a classmate who comes to her defense when she's being bullied. The gesture clearly means a lot to her—she even kisses him in thanks. According to Mairu, Kururi was thrilled when Aoba told her he found her cuter than the girl who'd been picking on her.
Like Mairu, Kururi is also a fan of Kasuka, Shizuo's brother.
