Morga was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to help the Dark Kingdom's energy-harvesting scheme. She showed up in both the first anime episode and the opening manga act.
The plan was straightforward: Morga locked Naru's mother in the basement, impersonated her at the jewelry store, and started selling cursed jewelry at prices too good to refuse. Women flocked in, and the enchanted pieces drained their life energy as intended. Once she'd bled enough victims dry, Morga revealed her true form—a grotesque creature with brown skin and wild brown hair, with a body so flexible she could twist her neck completely around and stretch her arms to impossible lengths.
Things fell apart when Naru realized her "mother" was a fake. Morga went after her, but Sailor Moon arrived just in time for her first real fight. Desperate for backup, Morga forced the energy-drained women to act as zombie soldiers against the Senshi. Sailor Moon panicked and started crying, which caused her red odango covers to emit supersonic waves strong enough to weaken Morga and her servants. One tiara attack later, the Youma was finished.
