Valkyrie came into his first year pretty isolated, so when Shu actually reached out to him, it meant a lot. They're genuinely close now, bonding over the handicraft club. He's got mixed feelings about Nazuna though—it still stings that he left the unit.
Personality-wise, he's straightforward and trusting to a fault, but he can turn pretty withdrawn and moody if he's feeling lonely. That happens more often than he'd like, mainly because finding people who get his specific interests is tough. He's into both cute and scary things, which isn't exactly a common combo, so he's ended up with a small friend group.
He's also got some insecurities he doesn't always talk about. His name reads pretty feminine to him, and his mismatched eyes have always bothered him—both things that make him self-conscious.
