Bill is the toughest of Hao's followers, though not necessarily the strongest—a massive former football player turned Shaman. He first shows up attacking the X-Laws but gets shut down by their Archangels. Yoh saves him from being finished off, and Bill repays the kindness by guiding them toward Patch Village.
He makes another appearance after the Icemen lose to Yoh's team, intending to destroy them, but Horohoro intercepts. Things escalate when Bill targets Horohoro's father, only to get knocked back by the old man's spirit. He nearly lands a killing blow on Horohoro next, but Lyserg's Archangel steps in again. Eventually Peyote kills him, though he and the rest of Hao's crew get resurrected later on.
Bill's Spirits are the 21 members of his old football team—he was their captain, and they all died together in a bus crash, making him the sole survivor. They serve as his primary spiritual power.
