Kaede Nagase is a character from Negima! Magister Negi Magi. She's one of Negi Springfield's students and probably best known for being a trained ninja—she practices ninjutsu seriously enough that she trains in the mountains and can pull off a bunch of ninja tricks, including creating clones.
Her whole vibe is pretty laid-back. She goes around with her eyes barely open most of the time, which fans often note is similar to Mitsune Konno from Ken Akamatsu's earlier series Love Hina. She'll only crack open one eye (or both, depending on what's going on) when something important actually demands her attention.
She's also the blue member of the Baka Ranger, a group made up of the five girls with the worst grades in class. As for personality quirks, she's into pudding and relaxing, but can't stand frogs. She hangs out with the Strolling Club.
