Aisslinger Wernarr is the 17th Arrancar in Aizen's forces and serves as one of Las Noches's gatekeepers. He's best known for his role defending the entrance to Aizen's fortress, a position that puts him on the front lines whenever intruders show up. While not among the most prominent Arrancar, Wernarr's status as a numbered Arrancar and gatekeeper reflects his considerable strength compared to other Hollows—he's basically the first real test any invader has to get through.
