Kess is one of three hunters partnered with Tzesguerra, and he's notable for being one of only two whose names are actually known—the other being Barry. He's also the only one of the trio whose hatsu has been revealed.
A Conjuration-type hunter, Kess developed a hatsu called "Fly on the Wall: Silent Worker," which functions as a radar to track other people's locations. He put this to practical use during their time in Greed Island, using it to monitor when Gensuru's team was approaching.
In Greed Island, Kess goes by the nickname "Dopple."
