Jousuke Tsunami is an Okinawan surfer with a genuine love for the ocean. He grew up in the South Seas region of Japan, where the water was basically his whole world.
Everything changed when he encountered Inazuma Eleven and discovered football. He eventually became a player himself, though his original team ended up losing to them. After some messy business involving Aliea Academy, Tsunami officially committed to the Inazuma Caravan.
His signature moves evolved over time. In season two, he developed Tsunami Boost and the Perfect Tower—the latter a combo technique alongside Touko and Kogure. Later, in season three, he added two new techniques to his arsenal: the Typhoon and the Tube.
