Sanae is Rikka's older sister and works as a cook. She's best known for being the one who actually keeps her younger sister in check—literally wielding a ladle as her weapon of choice whenever Rikka's delusions get out of hand. According to Rikka's storytelling, Sanae holds the prestigious title of Priestess of the Deep Horizon, though Sanae herself seems far less invested in the whole chuunibyou thing than her sister is.
One quirk worth noting: she's allergic to cats, which occasionally complicates things given Rikka's general chaos.
