Chimney is the hyperactive granddaughter of Sea Train conductor Kokoro and owner of Gonbe, a rabbit convinced it's a cat. She took an instant liking to the Straw Hat Pirates when they first met her outside Water Seven, though Franky quickly dubbed her "shrimp."
What sets her apart is her uncanny ability to notice things others miss. She spotted Luffy wedged between two buildings after Rob Lucci knocked him out of the Galley-La headquarters, and later found secret passageways throughout the Tower of Justice at Enies Lobby—skills that proved invaluable when helping the crew navigate toward the Gate of Justice. She and Gonbe snuck aboard the prototype Sea Train Rocketman and joined the Straw Hats, the Franky Family, and Galley-La foremen on their journey to Enies Lobby.
Since Kokoro turned out to be a mermaid, Chimney inherited the blood. She's officially one-quarter mermaid and an abnormally gifted swimmer—something she demonstrated when she saved a drowning Luffy (who's three times her size) while fighting against the violent currents and whirlpools near the Gate of Justice.
Chimney currently lives in Water Seven.
