Dr. Boyer works as a surgeon at Eisler Memorial Hospital. He was scheduled to assist Tenma during Mayor Roedecker's surgery, alongside another colleague. When Tenma made the controversial decision to operate on Johan Liebert instead, Roedecker died as a result—and Boyer didn't let him forget it. He openly criticized Tenma for the decision and pointed out how the surgical team had to scramble to cover his absence at the last minute. The incident apparently impressed Director Udo Heinemann enough that he promoted Boyer to Head of Neurosurgery afterward.
