Junichi Wanima is a Blue Lock contender currently playing for Manshine City in the Neo Egoist League. He's the older of the Wanima twins and one of only 35 forwards to survive Blue Lock's initial trials—a significant achievement given he started with 300 other players.
Junichi made it through First Selection, though it cost him his brother Keisuke, who didn't make the cut. The loss hit him hard, and he's since doubled down on his training, determined to prove himself and honor what both of them sacrificed in their push to become the world's best.
He's a tall guy with striking features: large dark eyes, spiky black hair, and distinctive crocodile-shaped eyebrows. He tends to either frown or grin, often looking serious.
Like Keisuke, Junichi carries an arrogant streak and only really respects his twin. Of the two brothers, Junichi's the quieter one—during First Selection he barely talked, preferring grunts and facial expressions to get his point across. It made him come across as the strong, stoic type. He was part of Team W early on in the program.
