Caroline Raiden
Caroline Raiden joined the 65th Escort Corps's Cosmo Marine platoon as its newest recruit. She's an American West Coast native with a mixed background—her father was a Japanese diplomat and her mother American. When her parents split when she was eight, she ended up moving to Japan with her dad.
Things got serious when Garmillas started bombing Earth. Caroline relocated to an underground city near the capital, which is where she first met Shigeru Sakamoto. After the Gatlantis War wrapped up, she made a move that would define her path: she enrolled in the National Space Defense Academy, partly to get out from under her strict father's thumb and partly, it seems, to chart her own course.
