Buru-Buru, also called the Okubyou-Gami or Coward Spirit, is a frost youkai known for a pretty nasty ability—she freezes people from the inside out. The good news is there's actually a cure: dunking the victim in a hot onsen will drive her out. She's essentially a youkai that preys on people through internal freezing, making her one of the more dangerous cold-based spirits in Japanese folklore.
