A master smith from the dwarven tribes with an obsession that borders on legendary—he's spent years chasing the dream of forging a godlike weapon. At level 301, he's earned enough respect that the dwarven king picked him for the Concord of the Tribes, essentially to keep tabs on Light and see what gifts came with that whole situation.
When the mission wrapped up, things fell apart for Naano. He never achieved his real goal, and worse, he got denied a second shot at finding the "master" he'd been searching for. He blamed Light for shutting that door, and he spiraled hard into drinking. The alcohol became his constant companion—a way to cope with failure.
In the meantime, he's been using humans as test subjects for his forged weapons, which is pretty grim but tells you something about his priorities. Then one day a mysterious merchant showed up and handed him an instruction manual for smithing a holy weapon. Whether that's the break he needed or just another false lead, nobody's quite sure yet, but it's definitely got his attention.
