Takashi started out as an ordinary kid until Oikawa corrupted him with darkness, which awakened some seriously impressive abilities in him—but it came at a cost. His personality did a complete 180, and he basically wasn't himself anymore. It took his friends Daisuke and the other chosen children to help him find his way back and reconnect with his true self. That's when he finally got his own Digimon partner: Poyomon.
These days, Takashi's got his sights set on becoming a baseball player, and he's got Poyomon by his side to support him.
