Gou
Gou is a Pokémon trainer from Vermillion City in Kanto who's basically driven by a single goal: catching Mew. He got obsessed after a random encounter with the Mythical Pokémon as a kid—the kind of moment that just sticks with you forever.
He's not naturally the friendliest person and had a rough time connecting with others, but everything changed when he met Satoshi. The two clicked immediately and ended up becoming genuinely close friends. Now they work together as research fellows at the Cerise Laboratory, pursuing their shared passion for Pokémon.
