Koyuki is a foreign ninja who basically fell head over heels for Natsumi the moment she arrived in Japan. She's best known for stumbling across a lost Zeroro, taking him under her wing, and training him in the ninja arts—which led to him reinventing himself as Dororo. These days, she bounces between her two worlds pretty seamlessly: she'll whip on a bow to tie back her hair and flip into full kunoichi mode in a heartbeat, but she also trusts Natsumi to help her navigate normal teenage life.
Her combat skills are genuinely top-tier. Athletically, she's right up there with Natsumi, making her one of the physically strongest characters in the series. But what's interesting about Koyuki is the contrast—despite a tough, strict background, she's surprisingly carefree and optimistic. She's got this eccentric energy that doesn't fit the typical "serious ninja" stereotype, yet she's also genuinely principled and gets along well with everyone around her. She and Natsumi share a really close bond that's kind of the emotional core of her character.
