Hanako came to Edo with big dreams of becoming a dancer, leaving Osaka behind to chase them. She landed a job at the Snack Smile hostess club as a newcomer, but things took a dark turn when she fell in with the leader of the Dream Catcher Cult and got completely manipulated by him. It's the kind of cautionary tale that explains a lot about where her head was at during that period.
