Inoichi Yamanaka is a Jonin from Konohagakure and the head of the Yamanaka clan. He's best known as part of the original Ino-Shika-Cho trio alongside Shikaku Nara and Choza Akimichi—a legendary team format that later got passed down when his daughter Ino formed her own version with the next generation of ninja from those same three clans.
When he's not on missions, Inoichi runs the Yamanaka flower shop with Ino, which serves as the clan's main business.
As a ninja, he's seriously skilled. He's mastered all the Yamanaka clan's secret jutsu and proved it during the Invasion of Konoha, where he used his Mind Body Disturbance Technique to turn invading enemies against their own allies. During Pain's invasion, he really showed his worth as an interrogator—he could dive into someone's mind and pull out an entire day's worth of memories in less than a minute, even when Pain had loaded their defenses with mental traps and blocks. He can also track targets through their chakra signatures and maintains a telepathic connection with Ino.
