Kotono's basically a solitary figure in the idol world—someone who carries a lot of regret into her performances. She was never super social to start with, but things got worse after something happened a few years back. Whatever went down made her pull away from the people she'd actually been close to, and she threw herself into idol work as a result. Now she's pretty much on her own, grinding away at her craft.
