Hajime Taki is a substitute forward for Japan's national team. A J1 League player, he's best known as part of the Shutetsu Trio—a three-man combination featuring himself, Kisugi, and Izawa that relies on quick, precise passing. He wears jersey #17 or #25 for Japan.
Taki and Kisugi have been inseparable since elementary school, which carried through to their time at Nankatsu middle school. The Shutetsu Trio accounted for roughly 13% of the team's goals there, with most scoring falling to captain Tsubasa Ozora. This partnership extended into high school, where they played alongside Taro Misaki at Nankatsu Public.
As a player, Taki is reasonably quick and favors running straight down the right wing—his go-to move and the role he typically fills. He's represented Japan at youth and U-22 levels.
