Ridel LeCoulte is an automail manufacturer based in Rush Valley, living on the outskirts of town with his wife and father. He's introduced to Edward and Alphonse Elric—along with Winry Rockbell—when Paninya brings them by to see Dominic.
Things get dramatic pretty quick when Ridel's wife goes into labor. His father rushes into town to find a doctor, but the bridge has been struck by lightning and is destroyed. With no other way out, Winry steps up and successfully delivers the baby herself.
