An is Kippei Tachibana's younger sister and a second-year student at Fudomine Middle School, where she's a regular on the girls' tennis team. At 13 years old, she's probably best known for her pink barrettes (which turn green when she's in her sports gear) and an interesting mix of tomboy energy with a willingness to rock miniskirts, cute outfits, and dresses when the mood strikes.
She's genuinely devoted to her brother and her friends across both the Seigaku and Fudomine teams, always ready to lend a hand or offer support. That said, An has a notoriously short fuse. Her temper isn't just quick—it's explosive and can get downright nasty. This tends to land her in hot water, especially when she's standing up for people she cares about (something Sakuno and Atobe have both witnessed firsthand). When things really get heated, she's not above throwing hands either, as Kirihara can probably attest.
