A police officer who works out of a neighborhood police box and is frankly not great at his job. He's struggling financially, not particularly bright, but he's got solid common sense and genuinely just wants to do regular police work without any drama. He's got two sons, and despite everything else going on, he seems like a decent enough guy. Pretty overweight, which the story doesn't let anyone forget.
