Kubota's uncle and a detective with the local police force. Kasai is known for being a sharp mahjong player, though he's not exactly squeaky clean when it comes to his day job. While officially investigating the Wild Adapter organization, he's also constantly trying to keep his nephew Kubota from getting in over his head.
