Synopsis

Makoto Kubota's been coasting through life—not the type to question things or look too hard at himself. Running the Izumo Group's youth division keeps him plenty busy with the usual yakuza stuff: turf wars, mahjong, the occasional hit. But then he discovers a drug called Wild Adapter that does some seriously messed up things to people, sometimes killing them outright. It shakes him in a way nothing else has, and he gets pulled into an unlikely friendship with a wandering guy named Minoru Tokito. Together, they find themselves digging deeper into what Wild Adapter really is and why it matters.
