Miranda Lotto is a German exorcist best known for her Innocence weapon, the Time Record—a clock-like device embedded in her right arm that can stop or rewind time in localized areas. The weapon awakened when she synchronized with Innocence inside an actual clock, which inadvertently caused time to rewind throughout her entire town.
She's struggled with chronic depression for most of her life, partly fueled by a string of over one hundred failed jobs that left her feeling perpetually useless and inadequate. Meeting Allen and Lenalee changed her perspective, though—their encouragement pushed her to stop wallowing and actually become a capable exorcist instead of just going through the motions.
The Time Record itself has clear limitations. While it can revert objects to their original condition, any damage they sustained before or during the time reversal still applies once the effect wears off. More significantly, the ability can't erase time itself, which means it can't bring the dead back to life. It's powerful, but only within reason.
