Vice-Admiral John Giant (ジョン・ジャイアント中将 Jon Jaianto Chūjō) is a Marine officer stationed at Marine Headquarters.
As a giant, Giant literally towers over regular soldiers—we're talking several times their height. He's hard to miss in a crowd, which probably helps with the whole authority thing. He dresses the part too: a red Marine hat with the official symbol, a customized Marine coat decked out in yellow and red with an impressive array of medals on the left side. Unlike a lot of other high-ranking officers, he actually wears his coat properly with his arms through the sleeves instead of draping it over his shoulders. Under it all is an orange shirt. The whole look screams decorated military officer.
To round out the ensemble, he carries a katana scaled to match his size, slung across his back.
