Devil Dias was a pirate who once captained the Acumate Pirates before his capture and enslavement by the World Noble family of Saint Roswald. He's got a bounty of 60,000,000 and claims to have a wife and child waiting for him.
Things went downhill fast when he ended up on Sabaody Archipelago. He made a desperate attempt to escape, trying to break free from his chains and detonating the explosive collar around his neck in the process. The situation only got worse—he was humiliated when Roswald's dog urinated on him, then shot by Saint Shalulia. The Marines dragged him away after that.
