Lee Pyron
Birthday: November 29, 1948
Date of Death: Age 30 (circumstances unclear)
Lee Pyron, known as "The White Dragon," was a martial arts movie star who became famous for his innovative fighting style. He's basically the show's Bruce Lee expy—right down to the mysterious death. Technically he's not a ghost or spirit, but rather a reanimated corpse brought back through Tao Jun's magical ofuda talismans to serve as her bodyguard. In the English dub, he goes by Lee Pai-Long.
Pyron studied under Sha-wen (called Shaolin in English), who developed his own spin on Shaolin kung fu called Ruichong-quan. Building on his teacher's foundation, Pyron created his own martial art: Daodan-do (daodan meaning "missile" in Chinese), which blended boxing, Muay Thai, and karate into something totally unique. He was working toward perfecting it before he died but never got the chance to finish or teach it to anyone else.
His signature techniques included moves like Fu chong Hong Zha si—basically a series of acrobatic flips straight out of The Matrix—usually followed up with Hong Zha Jiao (a hard face kick) or the Dao Dan Jiao (a sudden leg thrust to the body).
After his mysterious death, Pyron's body vanished from his own funeral. It's later revealed that Tao Jun's family actually killed him to turn him into her guardian. Once he regains awareness of what happened, he forgives Jun and becomes deeply protective of her.
