Rei is Altessimo's young violinist, and he's genuinely talented—the kind of musician who actually cares about what he's doing. He got into music because he loved sharing it with people, but somewhere along the way, he got burned out by people who saw him as just a paycheck. That's when a producer from 315 Productions approached him and basically said, "Hey, we think you're really good. Want to come work with us?"
Rei wasn't sure at first. Part of that hesitation came from meeting Kei Tsuzuki, his potential unit mate, whose. let's call it "unconventional" personality didn't exactly inspire immediate confidence. But he stuck it out anyway, and despite his initial doubts, he ended up joining the label.
