Formaggio is a member of La Squadra di Esecuzione, the assassination team within Passione. Like everyone else in the squad, he's driven by a desire to avenge Gelato and Sorbet—two of their own who were killed. Finding out who's really running Passione and why their comrades died is basically the whole reason the group exists at this point.
He comes across as genuinely tough, with a mean streak. Fans often note his sadistic tendencies, which fit pretty well with the kind of work he does.
