A driven corporate lawyer obsessed with his work to the point where basically everything else takes a backseat. He's got an unusual phobia of things he can't legally pursue—ghosts, basically, which is pretty specific as far as fears go. By the final episode, he softens up enough to get help from Kokkuri-san finding a Christmas gift for his daughter, using it as a chance to actually spend time with her for once. It's kind of his whole character arc: realizing there's more to life than billable hours.
