Kazuo Tengan
Kazuo Tengan runs the Future Foundation and heads up the 1st Division. He's also the former headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy.
The guy's basically a pacifist—he genuinely hates conflict and is pretty vocal about it. He's wrestled with the moral weight of the anti-despair movement, particularly when it comes to the more extreme methods used to stamp it out. His whole philosophy centers on peace, which makes him stand out as one of the more idealistic figures in the series, even if that idealism sometimes puts him at odds with the Foundation's harder tactics.
