A perpetual traveler with a simple philosophy: keep moving and let your kamas feed you. He's one of those guys who genuinely just wants to see what's out there—the weird stuff, the rare sightings, all of it. He's especially obsessed with the Misago, which says something about how deep his curiosity runs.
Makki's whole thing is trying to get her to join him on his travels as a kind of apprentice or protégé. Given how much he cares about both his kamas and the Misago itself, it's easy to see why he thinks they'd make a good team. He's the type to keep pushing on that idea, convinced she belongs out there exploring with him rather than staying put.
