Atsushi Shindo
Atsushi Shindo is Arata's father. He's best known as a former Bifrost Inspector, though he's remained largely mysterious throughout the series—one of those characters fans speculate about constantly. Not much is revealed about his day-to-day life or motivations, which pretty much defines his whole deal.
