Birthdate: February 9, 1987
Pirika is Horohoro's younger sister and basically his female equivalent—she puts him through the same kind of brutal training that Anna dishes out to Yoh. When Yoh first defeats Horohoro, Pirika genuinely hates him for it and lets him know, which actually gets to Yoh and makes him worry that people resent him. She eventually warms up though and becomes genuine friends with Anna and Tamao.
Her name comes from Ainu, where "pirika" means "pretty" and "pirka" means "good."
The author's never shown it in the actual story, but has confirmed that Pirika's spirit partner is Torara, a marimo (a type of aquatic plant spirit, called torasanpe in Ainu). According to backstory, Torara saved Pirika from drowning when she was young, and they've been bonded ever since. Torara can control water but is extremely timid, which is why the author decided not to actually bring the character into the manga or anime proper.
